The Publishing Project UEA is an innovative publishing venture based at the University of East Anglia (UEA). Drawing on world-renowned thinking that happens at the University, The Publishing Project produces short fiction, poetry, non-fiction, academic essays and works of creative-criticism.
The Publishing Project consists of three imprints:
Boiler House Press – the ‘literary activist’, seeking to redefine what it means to be a publisher in the contemporary moment
Strangers Press – the translator, introducing new writing from around the world to English-language readers
Egg Box Publishing – the University, drawing on the wealth of creative thinking that happens at UEA
The Publishing Project also represents the extensive national and international networks of Norwich, working with partners such as Norwich University of the Arts (NUA), Writers’ Centre Norwich, British Centre for Literary Translation, and others.
