TV Production
The Television Studio is a fully featured, professional environment for television production.
On the Studio Floor, there are three broadcast standard cameras, an energy-efficient LED lighting rig, radio mics, an autocue system and green screen facilities.
The Studio Gallery, meanwhile, is equipped with a FOR-A video switcher, a Clarity broadcast graphics system, an audio mixer and VT playout facilities. Users are able to recording their programmes through the Gallery’s EditShare Geevs server system. The TV Studio can also be connected to the Media Suite’s Edit Suites and Media Practice Lab through EditShare, allowing for work across multiple locations.
When not in use for teaching purposes, the Television Studio is available to students for extra-curricular activities. The space can also be used as a film and photography studio.
LOCATION
The TV Studio is located on Floor 02 of the Main Library. It can be accessed from Suffolk Road.
